Sisters in Birth, Inc., is a pregnancy health center that utilizes an integrative and holistic approach to women's healthcare. We provide comprehensive services, including primary care, home health care, birth support, patient education and advocacy, and coordinated care that significantly improve the patient’s overall pregnancy experience and birth outcomes. We have an excellent track record of guiding and supporting women toward making healthy lifestyle choices and changes that lead to healthy birth.
Currently, we exclusively serve the Greater Jackson area. We provide comprehensive proven based services that increase prenatal and postpartum visits, improve the patient’s overall pregnancy experience, and increase rates of full-term, vaginal births and breastfeeding.
We are committed to our clients throughout their journey to motherhood. We do not have a political or religious agenda; rather, our mission is to practice evidence-based clinical-community healthcare that improves birth and breastfeeding outcomes.
Sisters in Birth Inc. was founded and developed by Getty Israel, a population health expert, author, and mother. Ms. Israel first implemented the program in rural Southwest, Mississippi where it significantly reduced rates of medical inductions, C-sections, premature births, and infant and maternal mortality.
